Temple Square!!

So much has happened this week!! Let me just say the most exciting part of my week...DAN! I was able to go to Temple Square on Saturday with him and then to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional and needless to say, it was fantastic!

My whole thankful list idea went down the drain the busier I got. But I am back and this time with pictures. So the day before Thanksgiving I finished up my field experience in Mrs. Mitchell's Kindergarten class but don't worry I will get to go back to them in January when they come back on track. We got to celebrate by having a Thanksgiving Counting feast...1 roll, 2 apple pieces, 3 meat slices, etc. Then on Thanksgiving Day, I slept in and was quite lazy all day because we had a small little dinner with just my mom, dad and little brother. My sister, her husband and cutest Taylee came later to play games. The day after Thanksgiving(also known as Black Friday) I slept in until 9:00 and then decided to join the craziness just to go to Shoe Carnival but sadly the boots I want weren't on sale so I will wait. But that was my black Friday shopping. I was happily invited to join the Marchant family(my best friends) Thanksgiving dinner later that day. Okay so I was really invited because Charisse's sister-in-law(Natalie) wanted to hook me up with her brother. Natalie is amazing! She made an amazing dinner and it was fun to play with the family and meet Dan. After meeting, I mentioned that I had tickets for the Jazz game on Monday, and he willingly said he would come with me and I was perfectly fine with that. So drum roll please......here are the pictures!!!

November 7:

• An extra hour of sleep
• Early church...stake conference
• French toast with homemade syrup
• Funeral potatoes for dinner:)
• Elder Ballard....I love firesides!!!
• Brandon's muddy buddies
• Undercover Boss...an addiction

November 6:

• Coming home early after a sad game for the U of U
• Trax...I love to ride the train
• Date with Mom and Dad....yummy Mexican
• Brandon's first date..GO JAZZ!
• Going to be on time.

November 5:

• Mrs. Mitchell...my cooperating teacher...how I love her!
• Elementary early out days
• Playing with Taylee, seeing her cheesy smile, cuddling on my couch
• Shopping with the siblings
• My couch...I bought myself a couch last Christmas to take space up in my huge room and I am in love with my couch, sooooo comfy!!!!

November 4:
My thanks for today:

• 10 minutes of extra sleep
• only a 7 minute drive to school
• adventures with kindergarteners, especially painting and recess:)
• temples so close and friends to go with
• Red Robin...yummm
• a forever family
• becoming friends with the cute boy on facebook

• getting set up on dates!
• awkward/intimidating conversation with a cute boy!
• a nice warm bed!

My Thankful Countdown

So a couple of years ago, I had a companion who was amazing and we had a thankful countdown (we were also counting down to when she went home) and I have been thinking about the mission a lot lately and that was one of the ideas that came flooding back into my memory. So here I am once again being thankful!!!
